Citing his non-conformist success and commitment to social activism, Eyebeam Art and Technology Center will honor craigslist founder Craig Newmark at its annual “Freedom and Creativity” fundraising benefit on May 6, 2008. Proceeds from the evening will help underwrite Eyebeam’s international fellowship and residency programs for artists and creative technologists, more than 300 of whom have benefited since 1997.
